Male, 16 years old. Symptoms of tachycardia and thoracic pain. Chest X ray showed a right mediastinal mass. Chest CT scan confirmed a cystic mass in the right posterior mediastinum suggesting esophageal duplication cyst vs bronchogenic cyst. The entire lesion was removed by VATS without complications. The final diagnosis was esophageal duplication cyst.
Masculino de 16 años de edad, con taquicardia y dolor torácico. La Rx de tórax demostró una tumoración mediastinal derecha. La TAC de tórax confirmó lesión quística en mediastino posterior derecho, sugestiva de quiste de duplicación esofágica vs quiste broncogénico. La lesión fue resecada en su totalidad sin complicaciones mediante VATS. El diagnóstico final fue quiste de duplicación esofágica.
