There is a big reason why Wheeler High School has national recognition. There is a reason why Atlanta is a "hot-bed" for basketball in the US. There is a reason why Funsport Basketball will become a hit in the Southeast area next year. The reason is Desmond "Da General" Esmond. In my latest visit to ATL, I sat down with Da General and spoke openly about youth basketball, Atlanta's success, and the upcoming Funsport tournament at Wheeler HS.
